Clear Aligners

Clear aligners straighten teeth using a series of custom, removable trays that gently guide teeth into position. They are discreet, comfortable and easy to fit into daily routines, making them a popular alternative to braces.

Many patients search for Invisalign when exploring clear aligner options. While we do not provide Invisalign, we offer alternative aligners that work in a similar way.

Metal and Ceramic Braces

Metal braces are the traditional orthodontic method used, they consist of metallic ‘brackets’ bonded to the front surface of the tooth with a metal wire running along each bracket. Tiny rubber bands are then used over each bracket to hold the wire in its place.

Ceramic braces use the same method as metal braces except the brackets used are ceramic. They are often preferred over metal braces due to the pale colour. The ceramic colour means that the brackets are much less noticeable than the metal brackets.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces use a similar technique as traditional metal/ceramic braces, except the brackets and wires are placed on the inside surface of the teeth (beside the tongue). This means that your appearance is not changed and the braces are unseen.
